Lib Dems campaign for pedestrian crossing in Hersham

Esher and Walton Liberal Democrats have been leading the campaign for a pedestrian crossing in Molesey Road, Hersham (by the Barley Mow roundabout) near the Hersham Library.

Elderly residents and mothers with young children have been very supportive of the campaign and 150 signatures were collected for to be presented to Surrey County Council.

The petition was presented to the Council's Local Committee in Elmbridge by Lib Dem member David Weatherly on Monday 21 September.

The Chairman of the Committee asked Officers to report back to the next Committee meeting on 7 December to be held in Cobham Village Hall at 4pm.
